Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Ancestorii Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17224876), which trades as Prep66 Academy. They cover what you get on the free plan and on Pro, how the subscription is billed and cancelled, and what exam preparation can and cannot promise. Using the service means accepting them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account. If you already have one, you can delete it from the account screen at any time.

Who we are
Prep66 Academy is a trading name of Ancestorii Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17224876). Everything on this site is provided by that company, and it is the company you are contracting with.
Registered office: 41 Pentre Road, Maerdy, Ferndale, Wales, CF43 4DP.
Reach a person at support@prep66academy.com. That address is read by the people who build this, and it is the right one for billing, for a question about these terms, and for anything that has gone wrong.
What you are buying
Preparation material for the Part-66 basic knowledge examinations: question banks, practice sets, mock papers, study notes and progress tracking. It is educational material and nothing more.
Prep66 is independent Part-66 exam preparation. It is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by EASA, the UK CAA or any national aviation authority.
Prep66 is not a Part-147 approved maintenance training organisation. It does not conduct examinations and nothing bought here has regulatory standing. Your examination must be sat with a Part-147 approved organisation or the competent authority.
Nothing here guarantees that you will pass. We do not set the papers, we do not see them, and we cannot know what is on yours. Our questions are written to the published syllabus and to the standard Appendix II sets for the real ones, but a readiness figure on a progress screen is an estimate based on your own answers. It is not a prediction, not a promise, and not a substitute for the training and experience the licence requires.
We work to keep the material correct against the current regulation and to fix what is reported, but we do not warrant that every question, note or figure is free of error. If you find one, report it from the question itself and a human rules on it.
One account, one person
An account belongs to one person. Progress, streaks, readiness and every other figure the product shows is a measure of one person’s answers, and sharing a login makes all of it meaningless as well as breaking these terms. Do not share your credentials, and tell us at support@prep66academy.com if you think someone else has them.
You need an account to use the service at all, including the free plan. You must give an email address you control, and you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
You agree not to:
- share, resell or sublicense your access, or let anyone else use your account
- copy, scrape or republish the question bank, the notes or any other part of the material, or download it in bulk, by hand or by machine
- use the service to build or train a competing product, including a machine learning model
- attack, probe or overload the service, or work around the limits on the free plan
What each plan opens
The free plan is a real plan, not a trial that expires. It opens one set of new questions for each module every day, and a separate daily set of Fill in the Gaps for each module. Both sets are 25 questions at the date of this version, though the figure is a setting we may change, and the app always shows you the number and when it next resets.
Pro removes the daily cap and opens the mock exams. It also opens the revision guides, the books and the syllabus documents in full, and it opens the Progress screen. On the free plan the guides, books and syllabus documents each stop after a short opening extract. There is no free trial of Pro: billing starts when you subscribe.
We may change what each plan includes. If a change takes something away from a plan you are paying for, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you are free to cancel.
How the subscription is billed
Pro is a monthly recurring subscription. It renews automatically each month until you cancel it, and the card you subscribed with is charged automatically each time.
As at 21 August 2026 the price is £19.99 a month, or $26.99 or €23.99 in the currencies we sell in. The price shown at checkout before you pay is the one that applies. It is read live from our payment provider, and it is what governs if it ever differs from the figures written on this page. The currency you are offered follows where you are. You cannot be charged a currency you were not shown.
Payments are taken by Stripe under Stripe Managed Payments, which makes Stripe the merchant of record for your subscription. We never see or hold your card details. See the privacy policy for what does reach us.
We may change the price. An existing subscription keeps its price for the month already paid for, and we will give you notice by email before a new price applies to a renewal, so you can cancel first if you would rather not pay it.
If a renewal payment fails, it is retried for a short period. Access continues while that is happening. If the retries are exhausted, the subscription ends and the account returns to the free plan.
Cancel any time, and keep the month you paid for
Cancel whenever you like, from the account screen. It opens the payment provider’s own portal, where cancelling takes a couple of clicks and needs no email to us, no phone call, and no reason given.
Cancelling never cuts access on the spot. It stops the renewal: Pro stays open until the end of the month you have already paid for, and the account returns to the free plan after that. The date is shown on the account screen. Your answers, progress and notes are not deleted when Pro ends. They are still there if you come back.
Subscription payments are not refundable, including for a month you did not use, because cancelling already leaves you the whole of the period you paid for.
That does not override the law. If you are a consumer you have statutory rights. For digital content bought at a distance they include a right to change your mind within 14 days, and that right ends once you have asked for and received immediate access, which is what subscribing here does. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by agreement, and if you believe you are owed a refund, write to support@prep66academy.com and a person will read it.
What you may do with the material
The questions, explanations, notes, guides and the software itself are ours or are used with permission. While your account is open you have a personal licence to use them for your own study. You cannot transfer it, and no other rights are granted.
Some of the underlying regulatory material is public sector information and is reproduced under the licences named in the footer of every page. Those licences cover the source material, not our questions or our writing.
If you report an error, send us feedback or suggest a question, we may use it to improve the service without owing you anything for it.
When we can close an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms: a shared login, bulk extraction of the question bank, an attack on the service, or abuse directed at our staff. Where it is sensible to do so we will warn first and give you a chance to put it right. Where the conduct is deliberate or causing harm, we may act immediately.
If we close a paid account for one of those reasons, we do not refund the remainder of the month. If we close or withdraw the service for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of what you have paid.
You can close your own account at any time from the account screen. What that deletes, and when, is set out in the privacy policy.
What we are and are not responsible for
We work to keep the service available but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. It depends on providers we do not control, and it needs maintenance.
We are responsible for loss we cause you that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for anything unforeseeable, for loss arising from your own breach of these terms, or for an examination result. The exam is set and marked by bodies we have nothing to do with, and passing it depends on your study, your training and your experience.
Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stand whatever this section says.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The version date at the top of this page is the honest record of when they last changed. If a revision materially affects what you are paying for, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the revision.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts, and you keep the protection of any mandatory law where you live.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. support@prep66academy.com is the address for every question about them.
